Instructions for Visitors

Be respectful to the sacred place of Triple Jewel. When entering the temple, one should abide by the temple’s rules and maintain the solemnity and cleanliness of the temple.

  1. Comply with the relevant COVID-19 restrictions of the South Australian government, wear a mask, scan the QR code and maintain social distancing.
  2. Take good care of the temple facilities. No littering, spitting, making noises, climbing, smoking or drinking within the temple. Don’t leave your personal belongings and your children unattended.
  3. No admittance is allowed for people as follow: drunk people, people carrying alcohol and meat and people wearing indecent dress, such as sleeveless shirts, camisoles, shorts and miniskirts etc.
  4. To avoid polluting the environment and wasting timber, use three pieces of incense sticks only when worshiping and burn no joss-paper money. Please do not carry burning incense into the Main Shrine Hall.
  5. Bring your own tea cups and lunch boxes for drinking and lunch so as to reduce the use of disposable tableware.
  6. When you see the masters, you should greet them by joining your palms.
  7. Basic rules in the Main Shrine Hall.
  • No talking is permitted in the Main Shrine Hall and your mobile phone should be turned off or set to silent mode. You should follow the arrangements of the deacons.
  • Ritual instruments such as bells, drums, singing bowl, and wooden fish in the temple are not allowed to be touched without permission.
  • The worship mat in the center of the Main Shrine Hall is only used by the abbot. Please use the worship mats on both sides to worship and pray. It is not advisable to walk in front of someone who is just praying.
  1. If you want to donate items to the temple, please consult with the front office in advance, so as not to accumulate too many items and cause waste.
